The prestigious Waterman Ocean Games returns this year, and will be held on the central beach of Lacanau September 27 & 28. Following the success of its 1st edition, Waterman Ocean Games has the pleasure of presenting an event even more intense with more sporting candidates, festivals, plays and exploits.
The only competition of this kind in our dimensions, it will only offer an invitation, to the best watermen of Europe on a format by team. The last year was Antoine Delpero, champion longboarder and Rico Leroy - 2nd world of surfing tandem, who disputed the podium and titrates so much coveted.
This year they will have to defend the colors of their respective team. TEAM Basque Country for Antoine and TEAM Ripcurl for Rico. However an individual classification will be carried out all the same to reward best Waterman of the test having taken part in the 5 disciplines.
The Olympic Games Hawaiians are invited to our coasts, where all the sliding sports will be represented, by famous candidates and characters emblematic of the medium such as: Antoine Delpero (2nd WLT) Rico Leroy (2nd ISA 08), Sylvain Mercandali (2nd French OC1), Jérémy Drink (1st Challenge Waterman Cpe of FRA), Romain & FX Maurin and others from last year. Spirit surfing, user-friendliness, cordial environment, waves, beaches,… will be the go throughout the competition.
The program features: Longboard, Up Stand, Tandem and Dugouts 1 and 4 places. Evenings Dinner with the Tahamata club house. As much impressive than spectacular Waterman Ocean Range is a true show on water not to be missed, then quickly come to join us and attend this event.
