An Australian independent
filmmaker, FiL Baker, is in the early development stages of a
documentary about the life, films and spiritual journey of Albert Falzon,
the man behind one of the world’s greatest surf films, Morning of The
Earth.
The documentary reveals the
fascinating story behind the making of this classic film, using archival
footage, interviews with those that were there and the recollections of
Albe himself. Moving forward, Albe will reveal the stories behind some
of the 30 other films he has made since, including television
documentaries about cultures and religious festivals around the world.
What will emerge is a portrait of a man on a spiritual quest for inner
peace. From the oceans of Uluwatu to the mountains of Tibet, Albert
Falzon has documented the world in search of beauty, light and God.
This long overdue film is
already stirring great interest around the world. However, before it can
go into production, it needs some private and/or corporate sponsorship
to go ahead. Anyone interested can go to the following websites for more
