ITSA World Tandem Tour Announces Events In Hawaii, Oz and Europe

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, A total of 4 events are sanctioned by the ITSA association (we may get one more event in United states). All of these events will be judged with the ITSA rules and scoring system. These events are open to anyone who wants to participate, in order of sign- in, if limited number of contestants.

Competitors will earn points for each of the four ITSA events in the 2007 season. Year end point total will be comprised of the best 3 of 4 results. The team with the highest points earned from 3 out of 4 events will be crowned the title of ITSA World Tandem Tour Champion. The seeding of every competition will be taken from the 2006 ISA World Title result in Waikiki. Points: Year end point total comprised of best 3 of 4 results.

The four ITSA sanctioned events are:
Tropical Energy Ocean Games Maui (HAW) 17 - 19 February
Noosa Festival (AUS) 5 – 11 March
Surf & Co Lacanau (FRA) 7 - 8 April
Ripcurl Girls Festival Santander (SPA) 4 - 9 Sept
