Waikiki & Hawaiian Beach Boys 6th Memorial Paddle Out

6th Annual Memorial Day Waikiki & Hawaiian Beach Boys Paddle Out May 28, 2007

6th Annual Memorial Day Paddle Out May 28, 2007 (Monday) I'll Remember You... Outside of Canoes at Waikiki  9:00 AM to 1:00 P.M.  Come paddle out with us on this special day in Memory of our Loved Ones, Ohana, Kupuna and Friends.

Spread the word to the ohana, and friend's who no longer reside in the Island's so they may be a part of this memorial. Hawaiian's believe life comes from the sea, and by showing up for the paddle out is what this is all about. "Ho'o Pono" (Righteous, Respectful, to what is right) let's show some Respect to our loved ones.

DUKE KAHANAMOKU said: "My (ohana) family believes we came from the ocean, and that's where we're going back."  For a Hawaiian Beach Boy, the sea is the one constant, the one thing he knows he can go back to...

A time of MANA (Spiritual) for us and friend's in remembrance under the "Hawaiian Beach Boys" tents under the banyan tree at Queens. Next to Star Beachboys Surf Stand, and the Yellow Umbrella's with the logo of Star Beachboys . Gather in traditional Beach Boy style of remembering our loved ones who's ashes are in our moana.

View photographs of the many loved ones resting in the moana. You may e-mail a photo in advance (by May 25th, Friday) or bring a photo (not to be returned) to be mounted on a board with their name. A board will also be available to write the name's of your loved ones, ohana and friends whose ashes are in the oceans (anywhere in the world). Always remember that the Ocean is all connected as one, and that is why this is so important to me, and to all of us.

MUCH MAHALO'S TO EVERYONE IN THE PAST WHO CAME OUT TO THE EVENT.  It would be so nice, and in regards to some respect, and very respectful if all of the Beach Boy and Surf Stand's could stop all of the surf lesson's from 11:00 A.M. to about 11:30/11:45 A.M. and take a brake to pay a (SPECIAL) half hour to all of our (Beach Boy Brother's & Sister's) Ohana, Kupuna and most of all to one of the all time beach boy Duke P. Kahanamoku, Don Ho, and friend's out at sea.

MALAMA PONO
It would also show the Tourist and Vistor's how we as Beach Boy's pay respect to our Loved Ones and Friend's on this special Memorial Day. I will share this with all of you, There has been many time's that I've felt the (MANA) of them in the water's. It is very special to know that we can feel something so special as we think about them as we are Surfing, Canoe Wave Riding or just playing in the ocean. by: Willie Grace Waikiki & Hawaiian Beach Boys
