HB Pro/Am Surf Series is on for the 2007 summer season! HB Surf Series kicks
off its 14th season June 2-3 at the Pier in Huntington Beach. The 2007 Surf
Series features four events with a combined cash purse and prize packages of
over $25,000. "I'm super excited for the events this season with great
support from all our sponsors especially HB Dodge, newcomers HB Ford and
Toyota of HB! They are fully backing us, the local surf community and the
sport of surfing all together. I get asked when I'm surfing all the time by
the local kids and traveling Pros when is the next event? They say, I love
doing your contest, they're so much fun and the prizes are the best! So I'm
super stoked to announce that the series is back again for 2007!"
The HB Surf Series will hold the two of the four events at the most visible
surf venue in the world, the famous Southside of Huntington Beach Pier. The
Series is upgrading the events with computer scoring and $40.00 prize for
each heat winner for the Pro division! Seven divisions comprise the events
and include: Pros, Boys, Juniors, Men, Masters, Women and Longboard.
Event dates are as follows:
June 2-3 @ the Pier
July 7-8 @ Goldenwest St.
Aug 11-12 @ 9th St.
Sept. 29-30 @ the Pier
