Greetings one and all.
After resisting calls to revive Gonad Man for ten years, I am pleased to
announce that he has decided to re-enter the public arena.
Readers with good memories may recall how, as the nineties ebbed away,
Gonads increasingly struggled with the harsh spotlight of fame. When he
finally fell from the public gaze, back in '99, his drinking was out of
control and his world shrouded in existential darkness. Now, having spent
many of the subsequent years in the wilderness, he's back and ready to wreak
some havoc on an unsuspecting surfing world.
In fact, so surprising was his return and so immediate his impact on global
surfing affairs, that it has been necessary to set out the full, remarkable

I will continue to recount the details of this inspiring journey in monthly
instalments over the course of the coming seasons until the final, shocking
truth has been revealed. It is a moving saga of addiction, betrayal,
stupidity, greed, lust and ultimate triumph over the forces of evil that
seek to control the surfing universe.
