The last event on the Steinlager Shaka Longboard series is set to roll out at Waikiki as competitors gear up for a fun filled weekend. After four contests around the island of Oahu, the event #5 Honolua Surf Company contest will give competitors an opportunity to finish their rankings amongst the best in the Hawaiian longboard scene.

In a close battle for the pro-am longboard title, Isaac Kaneshiro from Ewa Beach holds a slim 146 point margin over Duane DeSoto so anything could happen between the top two pro's. In the Junior Wahine, Goedee Clark holds a slim 57 point lead over Megan Godinez and in the Mens race, Keoki Duey will battle with Eric Funakoshi and Fritz Belmero for the overall title.

With the last event bringing the season to a close, several divisions have been sewn up including, Stand Up Paddle's Leleo Kinimaka from Kona, as well as Nelson Ahina in the Menehune, Susan Nishida in the Senior Wahine and Yolanda Vicente in the Kapuna Wahine divisions. The event on Saturday will be running both the Pro-am and Stand Up Paddle divisions with the other division running on Sunday.
