RON JON TEAM RIDER JOSH MOHR TO HOLD PUBLIC SCREENING OF HIS NEW
SURF MOVIE
Multi-talented Ron Jon team rider Josh Mohr, a four-time
national longboarding champion, as well as a musician, actor and
producer, will host a free public screening of his new
independent surf film “More than Waves” at Ron Jon Surf Shop in
The Block at Orange on Sat., Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. Mohr, a Southern
California native, produced and stars in “More than Waves,” his
first venture in filmmaking.
“More than
Waves” follows the journey of Mohr and two friends as they
attempt to rediscover surfing and what got them hooked on the
sport in the first place. Throughout the film, Mohr and his
friends make an effort to reconnect with each other and the
surfing culture that has shaped their lives since the first time
they paddled out.
“We are
happy to provide a unique venue for surf fans to catch Josh’s
movie ‘More than Waves,’” said Heather Lewis, Ron Jon’s director
of marketing. “Ron Jon Surf Shop is thrilled to support Josh
and his various endeavors outside of surfing. He has been very
successful as a professional surfer, and we’re confident he’ll
be just as successful with other projects.”
Prior to
the screening, surf fans will enjoy live performances from Mohr,
well-known Huntington Beach band The Dirty Heads and Mike
Barnet, a popular, socially aware lyricist and musician from
Fullerton. Ron Jon Surf Shop is located in The Block at Orange
at 20 City Blvd. West, Orange, Calif. For more information,
